GOLDEN PIGLET brings to the Moldavian market a new breed of pigs, in a quality which has its roots in Denmark.

The company enjoys latest technologies and methods of breeding Danish DLY swine, the race is specified with a high quality meat, namely, bacon. Pigs are bred and raised in Moldova, with feed grains procured in the republic.

Animals are sold both in live weight and slaughtered at the slaughterhouse. Average weight of live pigs is 113 kg.

The thickness of the bacon in the coastal region 7 is 1.2 to 1.5 cm. (Thus falling into the category S of the European system SEUROP). The meat is slaughtered the day before delivery, and stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 1-2 degrees.

Thus at delivery the carcass temperature is 2-3 degrees. Slaughter yield is 72-73% (except head, legs, viscera).
