VETERINARY IN PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

Job objectives:

The main task of the veterinarian consists in ensuring the optimal flow of the production process, ensuring the normal growth of the pigs, the sanitary-veterinary supervision of the pigs and the fulfillment of the vaccination and medicine administration procedure. 

 

Basic tasks:

1. Responsible for vaccinating animals according to the vaccination plan and the production manager's decision.
2. Responsible for the correct vaccination of the animals according to the plan.
3. Ensures the record of vaccinations for each category of animals in the Register.
4. Fulfills the vaccine order so that vaccines are always in stock.
5. Responsible for the administration of animal medicines in different categories according to the plan.
6. Monitors and ensures the stock of medicines and vaccines is used within the expiration date.
7. Participates in the development and improvement of vaccination and medicine administration procedures.
8. Makes proposals to improve production procedures and indicators.

 

Mandatory requirements:

1. Compliance with sanitary and veterinary standards and biosecurity rules of the company.

2. Coordination of pig care activities with production manager.

3. Compliance with the deadlines for achieving the indicators of the production plan.

LOCKSMITH

Job objectives:

The main task of the locksmith consist of carrying out repair work, prevention, servicing of machinery (equipment), etc. so that the continuous flow of production is not interrupted.

 

Basic tasks:

1. Repairs mechanical components and/or utilities (equipment) such as diesel heaters, ventilation, feed lines, conveyors, compressors, elevators, water systems and others.
2. Performs, if necessary, unskilled construction work.
3. Repairs (or performs maintenance work) of mechanical machinery (equipment) during their period of rest or total disconnection from electrical networks.
4. Performs preventive work on the machines and immediately remove the observed problems.
5. Reads technical diagrams.

 

Mandatory requirements:

BUTCHER

Job objectives:

The butcher's basic responsibilities consist in slaughtering pigs according to the slaughter plan, respecting the slaughtering methods and technologies to ensure the quality of the carcasses and sub-products and the sanitary-veterinary norms.

 

Basic tasks:

1. Receives live pigs at the slaughterhouse.
2. Washes live pigs.
3. Completes the pig slaughter procedure.
4. Sorts the sub-products, ensuring their separation, according to customer requests and the slaughter plan.
5. Transfer half carcasses and/or sub-products to refrigerator.
6. Performs loading of carcasses, half carcasses and/or sub-products into the customer's truck.
7. Monitors the temperature in the refrigerator, respecting the thermal norms.
8. Checks the condition of the equipment/tools before each use.
